This training reviews concepts of trauma-informed/trauma sensitive school approach along with other preventative approaches embedded in the LCPS school system which supports the mental health and wellbeing of all students. Teachers will be provided with an understanding of a school’s role in a student’s mental health and learn to recognize signs and symptoms in students along with next steps to take in addressing what they notice.
